       Division of AdvancedCeramics, The Chinese Ceramic Society

       Founded in 1980, it was initially named the Special Ceramics Committee of the Chinese Ceramic Society, and was officially renamed the Special Ceramics Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society when the fifth professional committee was changed in 1996.

       The Special Ceramics Branch is a first-level organization of the Chinese Ceramic Society and a national academic group in the field of high-performance ceramics. The Special Ceramics Branch has five professional committees for structural ceramics, functional ceramics, bioceramics, ceramic powder, and popular science education and industrialization promotion. The directors of the branch are composed of people from institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes, business circles and relevant government departments engaged in the research and production of inorganic non-metallic materials across the country.

       Tetao Branch is currently affiliated with the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University.

       At present, the Special Ceramics Branch holds 3 to 5 council working meetings every year. It hosts a National High-tech Ceramics Annual Conference every even-numbered year, and is entrusted by the Chinese Ceramic Society to organize an advanced ceramics international seminar every odd-numbered year. (International Conference on High-Performance Ceramics, CICC). In addition, the Special Ceramics Branch also co-sponsored the English journal "Journal of Advanced Ceramics" with the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Ceramics and Fine Technology of Tsinghua University, and co-hosted the Chinese journal "Modern Technical Ceramics" with Shandong Industrial Ceramics Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.


        Advanced Ceramics and Inorganic Materials Youth Working Committee of Special Ceramics Branch of Chinese Ceramic Society

        (The Youth Work Committee for short) was established on December 22, 2017. It is a youth organization under the Special Ceramics Branch of the Chinese Ceramic Society and an academic exchange platform for young scientific and technological workers under the age of 45 in the field of advanced inorganic materials. The purpose of the Youth Work Committee is to "unite the vast number of young workers in advanced inorganic materials across the country, implement the innovation-driven development strategy, and contribute to the development of my country's inorganic materials industry".

       Since its establishment, the Youth Work Committee has developed more than 400 members, which basically covers major domestic universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises engaged in the research of special ceramic materials. The Youth Work Committee will actively organize various academic exchange activities in the future to provide opportunities and platforms for academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation for the majority of young scientific and technological workers, realize the collision of ideas and resource sharing, and promote the common development of young scientific and technological workers in the field of inorganic materials.
